SECRET.
Sir,
Enclosure II
C
33285
GOVERNKINT HOUSE.
30th August, 1911.

M. DATUDI
I discussed very fully with you recently
in conversation the subject matter of your letter of August 30th, 1911, and of mine to you of August, 27th, 1911 and
I have nothing to add to what I then said.
I forward the papers which were omitted with my previous letter. I have no objection to the terms of the telegram you propose to send to the Army Council, since as I understand, its transmission will not delay
the negotiations now in progress.
I have the honour to be,
Your Excellency's obedient Servant,
(sd) F.D.Lugard, Governor, e$c,.
